8/7/2010, Theft from motor vehicle, PO Chris Fabian- A resident of Hidden Hills Drive reports that radio speakers, amplifier and Sirius satellite receiver taken from an unlocked car. Estimate value of the property is $530.

 

8/7/2010, Warrant arrest, PO Chris Fabian- Luan Bizati age 21 of Jefferson Twp. turned himself in at police headquarters on a outstanding Jefferson Twp. warrant. He was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility in default of bail.

 

8/7/2010, Warrant arrest, PO Jeremy Romash-Yonny Concepcionconstan age 36 of Vernon turned himself in and posted his bail on an outstanding Jefferson Twp. warrant.

 

8/92010, Warrant arrest, PO Jeremy Romash-Thomas Duffy age 19 of Rockaway was arrested during a traffic stop. He was turned over to Rockaway Boro on an outstanding warrant.

 

8/10/2010, Shoplifting, Cpl. Glenn Peter- Police HQ received a report of shoplifting at the A&P on Berkshire Valley Road. The suspect fled scene in 2005 Toyota out of Wayne. An alert was issued for the vehicle. Kinnelon Police located the vehicle and stopped it on Route 23. Mark Revell age 40 of West Milford was identified and placed under arrest. Total value of theft $863.86. He was issued summonses for the theft.

 

8/11/2010, ID Theft/Fraud, PO Rich Riena- A resident of Willis Street reported that unknown actor(s) accessed his bank checking account and transferred $6998.00 to an account in North Carolina. Incident under investigation.

 

8/11/2010, Underage Drinking, PO Dave Wojtach- Tyler Petersen age 19 of Jefferson Twp. was arrested after being found in the Pathmark lot intoxicated. He was charged with consumption of alcohol underage. He was released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

8/12/2010, Criminal Mischief, Trespassing, PO Justin Gjelsvik- While on routine patrol a 16 year old Jefferson Twp. male was found sleeping in playground at Lakeside Field. Officer Gjelsvik observed assorted damage done to the field.  Justin McCarthy age 20 of Jefferson Twp. was charged with criminal mischief and trespassing.  Three other Jefferson Twp. juveniles were charged with trespassing. 

 

8/12/2010, Warrant arrest, PO Rich Riena- Daniel Halbach age 25 of Wayne was arrested at scene of motor vehicle stop after it was revealed he had an outstanding $300.00 Jefferson Twp. warrant. Bail was posted and she was released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

 

 

8/13/2010, Theft, PO Justin Gjelsvik- Alex Suckey age 21 of Franklin and Keith Vansweden age 19 of Sussex (current & former employees) where observed via in store video surveillance removing money on 3 separate occasions from a safe and cash register totaling $1018.00 from the Dunkin Donuts on Berkshire Valley Rd. A warrant was issued for $25,000.00 for both. Alex Suckey was arrested by Franklin PD and turned over to JTPD. Keith Vansweden turned himself in to JTPD. Both were committed to Morris County Correctional Facility in default of bail.

               

8/13/2010, Warrant arrest, Cpl. Bryan Christie- Alexa Librizzi age 19 of Jefferson Twp. was arrested on $809.00 worth of warrants out of Stanhope and $281.00 worth of Jefferson Twp. warrants. She was turned over to Stanhope PD.

 

8/13/2010, Warrant arrest, Cpl. Bryan Christie- Kyle Brand age 30 of Ridgewood turned himself in on $400.00 Jefferson Twp. warrant. He posted bail and was released pending Municipal Court appearance.

           

8/14/2010, DWI, PO Chris Quidort- Lisa Trotter age 43 of Sparta was arrested and charged with DWI after allegedly cutting off another vehicle while exiting Ding Dong parking lot on Berkshire Valley Rd.  She was later released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

8/15/2010, Warrant arrest, PO Chet Glazewski- After a routine motor vehicle stop it was revealed that Patrick Carman age 34 of Ogdensburg had an outstanding  warrant out of  Ogdensburg. He was turned over to Ogdensburg PD.

 

8/16/2010, Theft, PO Brian Seeley- A resident of East Elro Drive reported a horse saddle had been removed from a garage.

 

8/20/2010, Warrant arrest, PO Brian Seeley- Frank Cesaro age 41 of Jefferson Twp. was arrested by the NJSP Marine Bureau on an outstanding Jefferson Twp. warrant. He posted bail and released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

8/21/2010, Criminal mischief, PO Rodger Davis- A Hopatcong resident reported that he parked a Bobcat tractor at 82 Route 15 South and the window was smashed out overnight.

 

8/21/2010, Theft, Cpl. Bryan Christie- A resident of North Lakeside Ave. reported a16? Sears rowboat was taken from his back yard. Valued at $150.00.

 

8/21/2010, Theft, PO Rodger Davis- A business owner on Prospect Point Rd. reported a Husky log splitter was taken from the back yard of the business. 

 

8/21/2010, Warrant arrest, PO Rodger Davis- Lisa Casasanta age 39 of Sparta responded to Police HQ and turned herself in on a outstanding Parsippany warrant. Bail was posted and she was released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

8/21/2010, Fire/Arson, PO Rich Riena/Det. Rich Geib- Patrol responded to a wooded area of East Shawnee Trail for a reported brush fire.  The fire turned out to be a wooden fort.  JTFD #2 responded and fully extinguished the fire.  A container of gasoline was found nearby.  Det. Rich Geib responded as well as the Morris County Sheriffs K9 Unit. The K9 dog tracked to a home a short distance away on East Shawnee Trail.  A 16 year old and 17 year old Jefferson Twp. male were identified. Juvenile charges pending.  

 

8/24/2010, Warrant arrest, PO Tom Fedo- Daniel Howard age 24 of West Milford was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Jefferson Twp for by NJSP. He was turned over to JTPD, posted bail and was released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

8/24/2010, Criminal Mischief, PO Jeremy Romash- A resident of East Shawnee Trail reported that an unknown actor used a marker to draw pictures on a vehicle parked at the location.

 

8/28/2010, Theft, PO Chris Quidort- A resident if Venetian Drive reported observing three male juveniles ages 17 &15 removed a wooden door from the property and getting into a row boat. The juvenile were located and taken into custody and later turned over to the custody of their parents. Juvenile charges pending.

 

8/29/2010, DWI, PO Chris Quidort- Anthony Boisvert age 19 of Jefferson Twp. was arrested and charged with DWI at scene of motor vehicle stop on Route 181. He later released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

8/29/2010, Chocking Victim, Cpl. Doug Martin- While at ?That Little Restaurant? on Berkshire Vly Rd. Cpl. Martin observed a gentleman choking.  Cpl. Martin performed the Heimlich maneuver and dislodged the item from his throat. No further medical assistance was needed.

 

8/30/2010, Warrant arrest, Cpl. Bryan Christie- Michael Linder 19 of Jefferson Twp. was arrested on an outstanding Butler warrant. Bail was posted and he was released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

8/30/2010, Theft, PO Ernie Braun- The site manager from the Verizon Wireless Cellular site located behind the Shell Station of Route 15 North reported that unknown actor(s) stole approx. $1500.00 worth of copper and grounding plates from the site. Det. Rich Geib and Morris County Sheriff?s Crime Scene Unit responded.

 

8/30/2010, Warrant arrest, PO Ernie Braun- Wade Salisbury age 23 of Jefferson Twp. turned himself in on an outstanding Jefferson Twp. warrant. Bail was posted and he was released pending a Municipal Court appearance.
