Minutes of a Regular Meeting of the Jefferson Township Planning Board, pursuant to due notice and in compliance with the Sunshine Law.

Municipal Building, Jefferson Township, at 8:00 PM.

            Ms. Hartmann stated all items have been submitted and it is the completeness committee?s recommendation that this application be deemed complete and be heard at the June 12, 2007 meeting.

 

            Mr. Mitchko moved to deem application complete.  Chief Palko seconded the motion.

            Ms. Hartmann stated this application is a minor site plan application to keep horses on Halsey Island.  The application is grossly incomplete and her concern is that it is before the wrong board.  She discussed it with Mr. Kienz and we made a determination that it is not a permitted accessory use in the R40 district and it is not a farm use.  It needs to go before the Board of Adjustment.  We have no idea how many horses are being proposed, how they are going to be housed, how they are going to be pastured, what they are going to do with the manure, and how they will be fed or watered.

            Mr. Mitchko moved to approve the minutes.  Councilwoman Merz seconded the motion.

ADJOURNMENT:

 

            Mayor Felter moved to adjourn at 8:15 PM.

            Councilwoman Merz seconded the motion.
