The Jefferson Twp. Police Department announces its E-Mail
Notification Service.
A service for Township
residents whereby the department will send information directly to
your e-mail address. The Department will maintain a database of Township
resident's e-mail addresses. When a notice or other important information needs
to be released, we'll send it via e-mail. Examples of the type of
information would include, but are not limited to news releases, water
restrictions, upcoming construction projects, special announcements, emergency
information, etc. This is not replacing any other method of notification;
it is merely complimenting our current efforts. The faster we can get
correct information into the hands of our residents, the better they can
prepare, and the number of calls to our police desk will decrease.

and you would like to participate in our program.
Simply e-mail
us your Name, Local Street Address, and E-mail address,
to mail subscribe@jeffersonpolice.com
and we will add you to our list.

The Jefferson Township Police Department does not guarantee that all notices
shall be sent out via our E-Mail Notification Service. Variables including
Internet access, timeliness of information, availability of personnel, and
others may preclude a message from being sent out. In addition, the sending of
a message does not guarantee that it will be received. We shall make every effort
to issue proper messages, however, we cannot foresee problems with the Internet
itself and your ISP.
