Dial-A-Ride Services

Transportation for Senior Citizens 55 and over, and disabled residents for medical appointments and local shopping.  Call the Dial-A-Ride office at 973-208-6123 or the Recreation Department main number:  973-208- to receive additional information.

Dial-A-Ride Schedule

Please give a ONE-DAY notice for shopping days.  You must call by 2:00 PM the day prior to your pick-up or you will not be taken!!!!

To arrange all appointments please call 208-6123 and leave a voice mail message with you full name, telephone number, and the date and destination of where you want to go.

MEDICALS transported by our Dial-A-Ride vehicle and the MAPS Van goes 5 days a week.  We prefer to only transport within a 15-mile radius of Jefferson Township.  We need at least TWO DAYS ADVANCED notice on medical appointments.  We

The above services are available to all Jefferson Township Senior Citizens (Must be 55 and over) and Disabled persons of the Township, and are free of charge.

Local shopping is the following:  Ames, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, ShopRite, A & P, Pathmark, nutrition sites, and local banks.
