“Christmas Spectacular” bus trip

        More than ever, everyone needs a little Christmas!  It’s really never too early to think about Christmas so envision riding in comfort to New York City in a deluxe motorcoach bus to see the Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular and at a discounted group rate!  You can travel with the Jefferson Township Recreation Department on Friday, November 5, 2010 with time to sightsee and eat before and after the 2 PM performance.  And parents, be aware that Jefferson Township schools as well as most New Jersey schools will be closed for the New Jersey Education Association Convention!

Every minute of each 90-minute performance of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular® presented by Capital One Bank is a glittering present full of fun and surprises for the whole family! Enjoy the flawless precision of the Radio City Rockettes® in numbers like the legendary "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and thrill as Santa takes you on a magical ride to his workshop at the North Pole, where playful rag dolls come to life. Everyone marvels at the stunning re-enactment of the first Christmas in the "Living Nativity".  Brilliantly grand and genuinely moving, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular® creates family memories that last a lifetime!

The tickets are $73 per person and include reserved orchestra seating, a popcorn and drink voucher redeemable at the Hall concession, transportation by deluxe motor coach, and driver gratuity.  This year, the bus will leave Jefferson Township’s Camp Jefferson parking lot located at 81 Weldon Road at 8:30 AM sharp and then leave New York City promptly at 6:30 PM for the return trip home. 

In-person payments and telephone credit card reservations will be immediately confirmed at the Jefferson Township Recreation Department office located at 81 Weldon Road in Lake Hopatcong at Camp Jefferson during the regular business hours of 9 AM to 4 PM Monday through Thursday and Fridays from 8 AM to 3 PM (then effective September 8^th,  M-Th from 9 AM to 4:30 PM and F from 8 AM to 3:30 PM).  Reservations made by mail with a personal check or money order are subject to availability, and tickets will not be sent through the mail.  All checks should be made payable to the Township of Jefferson, and there are no refunds unless your ticket can be resold.  MasterCard and Discover credit cards will be accepted by phone or in person, but a 2.45% surcharge will be added on to cover bank processing fees.

              Travel with Jefferson Rec to experience King Tut’s Tomb

The Jefferson Township Recreation Department is offering the public the once in a lifetime opportunity to view the priceless treasures from King Tut’s tomb before these items return to Egypt forever!

             Make your reservation on the Recreation Department’s bus trip scheduled to go to The Discovery Times Square Exposition Center in New York City on Tuesday, August 24, 2010.   All reservations include admission at 11 AM to the exhibit, transportation by deluxe motor coach, and driver gratuity.  Adult tickets are $44 per person, Senior Citizen tickets (65+) are $42 per person, and Youth tickets (5-17 years of age) are $36 per person.   A responsible adult must accompany all children under the age of 18.

The buses will depart from Camp Jefferson located at 81 Weldon Road in Lake Hopatcong at 9 AM sharp and depart from the theater at 3 PM.
