Bike 'N Trike

Adults and children of all ages are welcome to participate in this free event. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and all children through age 16 must wear a helmet. Cyclists can begin checking in at 8 am at Stanlick School, 121 East Shawnee Trail, Wharton (Jefferson Township).

Loop Sizes

Bikers up to age 12 will travel a one-mile loop going left out of the school parking lot, turning around at the intersection of Hurdtown and Shawnee Trail, and heading back to the school. Police officers will follow on their bikes, and the children's goal is to complete the loop and beat the police back to the school!

Bikers 13 and older (and younger riders if they choose) will have the option of completing a larger 2.5-mile loop that will continue past the school, go all the way around the lake, and then return back to Stanlick School.

Wellness Campaign

As part of the Mayor's Wellness Campaign, this free event is offered to encourage residents of all ages to get out and get healthy. Healthy refreshments will be served in the school's all-purpose room for bikers to enjoy after their ride.
