- The Clerk’s Office will be closed for training the afternoon of Wednesday, February 22nd and also on Thursday, February 23rd, as well as from Monday, March 20th through Thursday, March 23rd.
- Notary Services are available by appointment only. Same day notary service may not be available. The Library and Mayor’s Office also offer notary services.

Vote In Person
Polls are open on Election Day from 6:00 am – 8:00 pm. Jefferson’s Polling Locations are:
District 1, 2, 3 – Jefferson Township Health Center, 57 Minnisink Road
District 4, 5, 6 – Camp Jefferson, 81 Weldon Road
District 7, 8, 9 – Jefferson Township Municipal Building, 1033 Weldon Road
District 10, 11, 14 – Milton First Aid Squad, 45 Milton Road
District 12, 13 – Jefferson Township Senior Center, 54 Schoolhouse Road
Early Voting
Early Voting is available to all registered voters who are not active vote-by-mail voters. Check whether or not you are an active vote-by-mail voter at www.Vote.NJ.Gov under “Am I Registered”.
Early Voting hours are Friday– Saturday 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. No appointment is necessary. Early voting locations in Morris County include: Denville, Hanover, Madison, Morristown, Mount Arlington and Mount Olive. Visit www.morriscountyclerk.org for details including address information.
Vote By Mail
Vote by Mail Ballots may be placed in a secure Ballot Drop Box. There are 30 Mail in Ballot Drop Boxes Countywide. Jefferson’s Drop Box is located outside of the Municipal Building to the left of the front door and next to the Post Office Box. Vote by Mail ballots CANNOT be returned or dropped off at your polling place or early voting locations. Other drop box location information may be found at www.morriscountyclerk.org.
