Certificates & Proclamations


Proclamations are issued by the Mayor for historical, cultural, civic celebrations, nonprofit organizations, and achievements, or events with significance to the Township of Jefferson. Proclamations may also recognize a civic-minded person, a special day, week, or month.

Certificates of Recognition

Certificates of Recognition are issued by the Mayor when appropriate to commemorate milestone birthdays of 75 years or more and to acknowledge noteworthy achievements such as becoming an Eagle Scout, opening a business, winning a major sports championship, earning a state or national award, etc.
