Township COVID-19 Update 10-5-20

Here is the latest COVID 19 report, 5 new cases to report since September 22nd,

As of 5:00pm on October 5, there have been 289 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and eight COVID-19-related deaths in Jefferson Township. Two hundred forty-six (246) of these individuals have been cleared of active disease status and the remaining active cases are recovering and receiving treatment as necessary. Negative test results have been reported for 2,238 individuals.

If you are a resident and have tested positive for COVID-19, but have not been contacted by a Jefferson Township Public Health Nurse, please call the Township Health Center at 973-663-0700.

As always, please continue to follow all guidelines and protocols, continue to wear a face-covering in public areas, especially when you cannot physically distance, wash hands frequently, disinfect hard surfaces, and of course, social/physical distance by 6 feet and STAY CONNECTED!

Please make sure neighbors are checking on neighbors, especially the elderly.
