Here is the latest COVID 19 report, 69 new cases to report since December 22. Sadly we have one new death to report. Jefferson Township confirmed its eleventh (11th) COVID-19 related fatality. The decedent, a 63-year-old male suffering multiple preexisting chronic conditions, passed away on December 2. Any close contacts have been identified and notified and are quarantining per State protocol. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the deceased. As of 5:00pm on December 29, there have been 882 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and 11 COVID-19-related deaths in Jefferson Township. Active cases are recovering and receiving treatment as necessary.
