COVID 19 Report -Township of Jefferson
Here is the latest COVID 19 report, 46 new cases to report since January 23. Sadly, one new death to report.
Jefferson Township yesterday confirmed it's sixteenth (16th) COVID-19 related fatality. The decedent was a 60-year-old male suffering several preexisting conditions. Any close contacts have been identified and notified and are quarantining per State protocol.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the decedent. Please keep all those dealing with this disease in your prayers.
As of 4:00pm on January 25, there have been 1,304 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 16 COVID-19-related deaths in Jefferson Township. Active cases are recovering and receiving treatment as necessary. Negative test results have been reported for 2,557 individuals

If you are a resident and have tested positive for COVID-19 but have not been contacted by a Jefferson Township Health Department, please call the Township Health Center at 973-663-0700.
As always, please continue to follow all guidelines and protocols, continue to wear a face-covering in public & private areas, especially when you cannot physically distance, wash hands frequently, disinfect hard surfaces, and of course, social/physical distance by 6 feet.
