Township COVID-19 Update 7-27-20

Here is the latest COVID 19 report, four new cases to report since July 20th,

As of 6:00pm on July 27, there have been 243 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and eight COVID-19-related deaths in Jefferson Township. Two hundred fourteen (214) of these individuals have been cleared of active disease status and the remaining active cases are recovering and receiving treatment as necessary. Negative test results have been reported for 1,544 individuals.

If you are a resident and have tested positive for COVID-19, but have not been contacted by a Jefferson Township Public Health Nurse, please call the Township Health Center at 973-663-0700.

As always, please continue to follow all guidelines and protocols, continue to wear a face-covering in public areas especially when you cannot physically distance, wash hands frequently, disinfect hard surfaces, and of course, social/physical distance by 6 feet and STAY CONNECTED!

Please make sure neighbors are checking on neighbors, especially the elderly.

While the numbers in New Jersey continue to be lower, elsewhere in the Country the numbers are in increasing .
