Township Services and Social Distancing

In accordance with guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control, the Township of Jefferson is encouraging employees and customers to observe social distancing and utilize our online services when applicable.

The Township of Jefferson offers the ability to make payments online for:

Tax Payments:


Utility Payments:


Recreation:


Municipal Court -Tickets:


You may also call ahead to obtain payment amounts for taxes, permits, etc. and identifying info for the memo line if you wish to pay by check and leave it in the municipal building dropbox which will be checked frequently. Please call or email if possible. Township staff will make every effort to provide any information you are looking for by phone, email or fax. Many documents and forms can also be found online at: https://www.jeffersontownship.net/35/Resources

We ask for your patience over the next few weeks as we are experiencing a heavy influx of phone inquiries and requests.

If you call to schedule an inspection, you will be asked, out of an abundance of caution, if anyone in your household, business or other enclosed area to be inspected has any of the following symptoms: fever, cough and shortness of breath to schedule a date at least two weeks into the future. We respectfully ask that the inspection be delayed, or rescheduled if already planned. To reschedule contact the appropriate department:

We are encouraging employees and the public to maintain six feet separation and decline to shake hands during in-person interactions. The Health Department does not conduct COVID-19 lab testing.
